Aneros: Prostate massage and prostate stimulation with adult sex toys

Sex toy review: three-and-a-half hearts.

Item Description

Recommended in Details magazine and on Talk Sex with Sue Johanson, the Aneros is specifically designed for men to enjoy comfortable and safe prostate stimulation. The prostate gland is commonly referred to as the Male G-Spot, because it can be stimulated through massage and movement, which often results in powerfully intense orgasms.

As the only medically researched and patented prostate massager, the Aneros is designed with anatomical considerations in mind - to work perfectly in sync with the male body, complementing the natural contours of the anus and the location of the prostate gland. That being said, women can also enjoy the Aneros' revolutionary shape, texture, and size, experiencing quality anal stimulation, too!

Choose from three different sizes: Slimmer/Small, Standard, and Maximus (large). Beginners should consider purchasing the slimmer or standard-sized Aneros, because the Maximus is designed for men who are experienced with anal and prostate stimulation. The Aneros Progasm, for you male overachievers, is the largest of the Aneros prostate stimulators, and it promises to stimulate your sensitive internal nerves like no other sex toy.

Men interested in prostate stimulation should also consider the Pandora and Nexus Vibro as reliable vibrating alternatives to the Aneros. The Pandora and Nexus Vibro are two of the top-selling and highest rated vibrating prostate stimulation products available, so be sure to check them out before purchasing the Aneros.

Editorial Review

I used to be apprehensive about playing with anal sex toys. After meeting my wife and learning some new tricks in bed, I wanted to experiment with prostate stimulation. At that time prostate milking wasn't discussed very much - it was considered taboo, I guess, with a lot of men intimidated by the act of anal penetration, especially with a sex toy involved. So, after discussing it with my wife, we wanted to give prostate stimulation a try. Who wouldn't want to improve their orgasms? After all, women do it all the time with G-Spot sex toys, right?

We started our experimentation with the original Aneros model, which had been receiving praises from television shows and articles in magazines. I researched it for a while before playing with it, so I was familiar with the design's objective - or, put simply, how it was supposed to work in my favor - to make me experience more intense orgasms that last longer. The first time I held it in my hand, I didn't know what to think. I expected a larger toy - or maybe just a sex toy that was, at least a little bit, more intimidated. But that wasn't the case - I was completely at ease and comfortable with the idea of playing with it.

The Aneros' rise in popularity is mainly due to its uncanny ability to capitalize on sensitive anal tissues and the connection between male sexual arousal and the prostate gland. Increased sexual stamina and enjoyment, as well, are incentives enough to play with this sex toy, but it also helps that prostate milking has been associated with health maintenance. Furthermore, the Aneros is said to produce multiple full body orgasms without ever even ejaculating - similar to what women experience. It even strengthens and tones the anal and urinary sphincter muscles. So, yes, I believe this toy is pleasurable and addresses some health issues.

The included instructions explain that the Aneros works by "stimulating the prostate and the perineum at the same time, using the body's natural contractions for effective prostate massage. Within the anus, the anal sphincter accurately guides the Aneros toward the prostate gland, while the external knob pushes against the perineum." I decided to lie on my side in the fetal position, like the instructions suggest. Using plenty of i-Lube, I slowly inserted it. At first it felt somewhat uncomfortable and foreign up there, but after a few minutes this feeling subsided, quickly replaced by a new pleasurable feeling.

The instructions explain that it's best to completely relax the sphincter for about 10-20 minutes; I heeded this advice and concentrated on my breathing and fooling around with my wife. After about 10 minutes, I felt fully relaxed. Incredible pleasure swept through my body, like never before - or since (except when I play with my Aneros or the Pandora). It's similar to exercising - inhale as you contract, and exhale as you relax. The feeling was absolutely phenomenal. The contractions were enough to stimulate just the right spots. As I slowly changed positions to lie on my back, it was almost more than I could take.

I was about to blow my load right at that moment, and I concentrated hard not to. My wife was just staring at me in amazement - my dick actually felt harder and thicker than ever before (which the literature claims is due to the increased blood circulation)! Now we're both almost over the edge, and one minute after she went down on me, I blew my load like never before. My orgasm was completely amazing, lasting for about five minute's altogether. It was an entirely different feeling than I've ever had from regular ejaculation. I started groaning and my body started convulsing uncontrollably.

It's hard to explain, but this incredible helpless feeling just keeps coming over you in one wave after another. I've read in testimonials that the orgasms get even better with repetition. You can bet this something I plan on finding out. I found that the more lube I use, the better. The lube makes it easier for the toy to maneuver inside of me. The Final Verdict: The Aneros far exceeded any expectations I initially had. My wife and I have been enjoying sex in a new exciting way - my ejaculations are stronger than ever, and she claims it feels like I'm harder and bigger inside of her.

Admittedly, when I opted to experiment with this toy, I expected that gentle prostate stroking was in itself the way toward intense ejaculation. Given the advertising that this toy is marketed with, plus cultural hype about prostate play in general, it's possible that other men will expect the Aneros to immediately send them into spasms of ejaculation.

Not so. But what the Aneros does offer is a unique sensual experience in itself that, in time, may also enhance orgasm. This may be especially so for older men who are experiencing lower semen volume or pressure, as the prostate plays a major role in both of those factors.

My boyfriend provided this review:
I didn’t really feel the movement advertised as the "abutment" was digging into my taint something awful.
According to the instructions when I finally orgasmed the toy was supposed to rock against my prostate as my sphincter automagically contracted. No luck on that either. Good orgasm, but nothing extra-special.

The man I tested it out on confirmed that you achieve mind-blowing orgasms with this toy. He also produces copious amounts of ejaculate with it (we're talking more than a shot glass worth) He has tried it several times now, I think he's addicted! The only negative is that it should come in a color besides white - it stains, no matter how well you wash it. Eh, use it in the dark. :)

A friend recommended that I try the Aneros. I bought it and used it a couple of times, but didn't like it or dislike it. It didn't do much for me. Then I read an article about vibrating prostate stimulators. Sure, why not! I got the Nexus Vibro a week later. It feels so much better than the Aneros. So I recommended the Nexus Vibro to my friend! Now he's thanking me.

I first learned about P-Spot stimulation while playing with my Aneros, the first anal sex toy I tried. But as with most things in life, I outgrew it. I wanted to see what vibrating prostate stimulators felt like in comparison to non-vibrating ones. Now I am hooked on the Pandora. The Pandora can do everything the Aneros can do, but the Aneros doesn't vibrate. That's the main difference, but it is a significant advantage. Vibrations add the finishing touches.

The Aneros introduced me to something new. That something new is prostate stimulation. I wouldn't have guessed that prostate stimulation did much of anything. I was way off base with that notion. The Aneros is cool because it has these curves that make the toy easy to insert. Those prong handles make it easy to pull out. I'm like that last reviewer. I have not experienced a prostate stimulation orgasm without oral sex or sex at the same time, but the Aneros creates sensations that complement other types of sexual stimulation.

Two thumbs up! I thought prostate stimulation was a myth. The Aneros taught me otherwise. My girlfriend read about prostate stimulation in her human sexuality class and said prostate stimulation was real and enjoyable for men. I challenged her. I set out to prove her wrong and the "experts", but I ended up being the one who was wrong, and I found a new source for pleasure.

At first I couldn't wrap my mind around the idea of prostate stimulation. I didn't view as weird or backwards, I just didn't have a clear idea of what I was supposed to do to make it happen. The Aneros immediately cleared up the confusion for me. The shaft is angled for quick stimulation. I felt strong sensations inside of me right after sliding the shaft all the way in. I slightly twisted the sex toy and I felt really good. I can't orgasm from prostate stimulation alone. I have to be masturbating or having sex, but it definitely makes my orgasms intense and longer.

This product is amazing. Not because it will instantly provide you with prostate orgasms, because it most likely won't. I have been using this product for months and I have yet to experience a prostate orgasm. From reading about this product and experimenting myself, it takes a long time to get there. However, the reason you should absolutely buy this product is because it makes normal penile orgams ten times better and more powerful. Normal masturbation causes the anus to flex and with this product inside during masturbation the sensations are great. My orgams are much better when I use this product.

I had heard all the talk about this item, so i decided to put one on next day order. Im a novice when it coes to anal toys. Was excited about it coming. When it arrived I got out my lube and used lots of it. I was real nervous at first, but found that if you leave it in for 15 minutes and then begin to clench unclench your ass it becomes amazing. The hardest part for me was getting the bulbus head of it in. once that was in my ass just accepted it. and seemed to suck it in raher than m dildo's that seem to want to slide out. After a few weeks of using this i manged to come with out playinh with myself. Well worth the £40

Excellent device and works fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! My lovers finger is the ultimate but this is second best

Beware of the inflated claims about this device! Most of the reviews I've seen are from people who were quickly able to have an amazing experience with it. As a dissatisfied owner/user, my advice is go to the Aneros website and read the forum, NOT the testimonials! (http://www.malegspot.com/forum.php) The messages in the forum will give you a much truer idea of how ineffective this device is for many, and how long it can take and how much work is involved to achieve a satisfying experience.

Amazing. I played solo with this a few times and enjoyed it but nothing compared to last evening. I was with a partner and she was performing oral sex while inserting the Aneros. Then after an amazing slow build up... I began a thrusting motion... that created the most amazing orgasm I have ever had!!!

I bought one of these due to the large amount of hype I have been hearing. The good news is that it does work as advertised, however I think it's a little expensive for what it does. I have several other anal toys and of all of them, I would say that the aneros is only average. My favorite (and a much better deal IMO) is the Pro Touch. It's curved in the same way as to stimulate the area around the prostate, and it also has the added bonus of having a vibrator in the base that allows for even more intense stimulation.

To be honest I purchased the Aneros on impulse. When I recieved the device I was extremely skeptical of its ability to do anything for me. Nevertheless, I prepped myself and inserted it one evening. Note that I was not in the least bit horny that evening. Upon insertion the prostate stimulation was immediate and rivaled the best top man that I know, without all the normal discomfort associated with being topped. Once the device was inserted I got an immediate erection and was unable to keep my hands off of my penis. I came in mere minutes without the usual assistance of video or reading materials.

Since that first attempt at using the Aneros I have been practicing and now can have orgasms without stimulating myself with my hands, I have had a few non-ejaculatory orgasms and have given and recieved the most ABSOLUTE INTENSE blow jobs of my life.

I recommend this toy to anyone who wants to live on the cutting edge of orgasmic technology. WOOF!!!

If this is the first sextoy to ever invade the dangerous dark depths of your man butt - then I guess the reviews of unbelievable orgasmic pleasure are valid. The only thing unique about it in my opinion is the marketing. You'd have the same effect with a $10 latex probe. But if it takes an overpriced piece of plastic and some slick verbage to get you over your homophobic fears of prostate stimulation - go for it - and join the ranks of men in touch with their bodys and sexuality.

I heard amazing things about the Aneros so I thought I'd give it a try on my boyfriend. He always thought it was great that I liked anal sex, but couldn't understand why it turned me on so much. He was a little doubtful when I introduced the toy after a couple drinks, but his doubts didn't last long. I've never heard a man make noises like that in my life! He even ejaculated without noticing! He kept getting even harder so I went down on him, and OH MY GOD, it was amazing. I highly recommend the Aneros for couples and single men.

I got this for my husband's birthday and all I can say is, "WOW!" I read all about what wonderful orgasms men can have by stimulating the prostate, but he was always a little shy about the whole issue. Once he tried the Aneros and had such an incredible orgasm he got over the shyness right away. It's really helped him to become more adventurous in bed.
